20-year-old Sarah Janice Conner was arrested yesterday by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and charged with neglect of a child with great harm and resisting/obstructing a law enforcement officer without violence.

The B.C.S.O. had searched for Ms. Conner (booked as “Conner” but “Connor” may be the correct spelling) throughout the day yesterday after the one-year-old was discovered home alone at the Tropical Manor Apartments in Merritt Island.

At one point during the search, witnesses reported seeing Ms. Conner drive by her apartment building in her green Cavalier but kept on going once she saw news crews parked in the complex.

She states on her My Space page, which was apparently written two years ago, “MY NAME IS SARAH IM 18.IM EXPECTING MY FIRST CHILD ON MAY 6TH 2010 AND SO HAPPY AND EXCITED.IM CURRENTLY IN SCHOOL TO FINISH MY G.E.D THEN ILL BE GOING TO COMPLETE TRAINING AS A CNA!I CANT WAIT TO GET MY LIFE STARTED WITH MY BABY GIRL.THIS YEAR IS ALL ABOUT BEING SUCCESSFUL!!ITS 2010 BABY TIME TO GET WIT IT!!! GETCHYA MONEY UP.”

On her Facebook page, she lists her work as a waitress for Bizzarro Pizza.  However, her profile picture appears to have been taken in a locker room of a gentleman’s club.
