Titusville House Fire Victim Identified, Criminal Investigation Opened

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — On January 1, 2012, Titusville Police Officers and Detectives responded to a structure fire at 2900 Flora Street in Titusville.
After the flames were extinguished, officials discovered the body of a white male who was deceased.  At that time his identity was unknown.
On January 6, 2012, a positive identification was made by comparing dental records.  The deceased was identified as Michael Cerrato, 52 years of age, who resided at that address.  

The investigation into how the fire started is still ongoing by Titusville Police Detectives and the Florida State Fire Marshall.
