DAYTONA BEACH, Florida – As of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018, I-95 has reopened in both directions in Volusia County after the Florida Highway Patrol shut down I-95 from State Road 44 to Dunlawton Avenue in Daytona Beach, Florida yesterday due to lack of visibility from smoke created by a nearby brush fire.
FHP troopers have blocked I-95 north at Exit 249 State Road-44 and I-95 south at Exit 256 State Road-421.
Motorists can turn left on State Road-44, then right on State Road-415, then right on State Road-421 as an alternate route.
