TALLAHASSEE, Florida – Governor Ron DeSantis suspended tolls across Florida to ease evacuation traffic as Hurricane Dorian approaches the Sunshine State.
Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for coastal areas of Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties. St. Johns, Brevard and Volusia counties will issue evacuation orders tomorrow.
“As we continue to monitor this storm, all Floridians should follow local reports and heed the call for evacuations, ” said Governor DeSantis.
The toll suspensions include the following:
The Turnpike Mainline (SR 91), including the Homestead Extension (SR 821)
Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869)
Beachline Expressway (SR 528)
Orlando Beltway (SR 417 and SR 429)
