MERRITT ISLAND, Florida – A single-family house caught fire early Friday morning in the 2600 block of Newfound Harbor Drive on Merritt Island, Florida.
Just after 3 a.m. on October 25, 2019, Brevard County Fire Rescue units responded to the single-story residence with heavy involvement.
BCFR crews took a defensive strategy when battling the blaze.
All of the occupants were able to get out of the residence by the BCFR units arrived.
A State Fire Marshall was called to investigate what caused the fire.
There were no injuries and some items within the residence were salvaged by firefighters.
