Brevard County Coronavirus Cases Rise To 37

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida – The number of cases of coronavirus in Brevard County rose from 32 to 37 on Tuesday, March 31, 2020, the Florida Department of Health announced.

The five new cases announced are two males and three females.

Palm Bay, Melbourne, Titusville, Mims, Satellite Beach, and Merritt Island each gained one case today.

Melbourne has over one-third of all Brevard County cases at 13. Palm Bay has the second-highest number with 5 cases.

574 people in Brevard have tested negative and 37 positive to date. Seven people are awaiting tests.

Brevard’s total cases now stand at 23 males and 14 females.

7 people were hospitalized but there haven’t been any deaths in Brevard.

9 out of the 34 cases had prior travel to New York.
