Brevard County Coronavirus Cases Rise To 7

BREVARD COUNTY, Florida – The number cases of coronavirus in Brevard County rose to 7 on Sunday, March 22, 2020, the Florida Department of Health announced.

The two new cases are a male and female, one is travel-related and the other is not.

Here is the detailed breakdown of what we know about the other five coronavirus cases in Brevard County:

76-year-old female; travel-related; prior travel to NY; contact with a confirmed case.

32-year-old male Northrop Grumman employee; travel-related; prior travel to PA, UT; no contact with a confirmed case.

Anita Unrath, a 64-year-old female from Suntree; travel-related; prior travel to DC, FL, NY, PA; unknown if contact with a confirmed case.

49-year-old male; not travel-related.

74-year-old male; not travel-related.

Out of 90 Brevard County residents tested to date, there are 82 negative cases, 7 positive, and 1 pending.

As of March 22, 2020, there are 1,007 coronavirus cases in Florida and 13 deaths.
