Rubio Calls For Intervention In Libya: A Break From The Tea Party?
Newly elected “Tea Party Candidate” Marco Rubio (R-FL) appears to be diverging from the tea party’s founder Ron Paul’s stance on the U.S. not policing world.
Below is Senator Marco Rubio’s questioning of a U.S. state department official wherein it is clear that the Senator favors intervention in Libya’s civil war:
This is a break from Tea Party Founder Ron Paul’s (R-TX) stance where he unequivocally states that the U.S. should leave Libya alone:
It is not entirely clear from an interview what degree of intervention in Libya Congressman Bill Posey (R-FL) supports. But he is apparently upset that the President did not discuss the matter with Congress. His audio interview can be heard here.
