The so-called “Pill Mill Bill” (H.B. 7095) unanimously passed the Florida Senate today (39-0). The Florida House version had passed (116-1). Rep. John Tobia (R-Melbourne) was the only House member to vote against the bill.
The bill includes a requirement for a drug database which Gov. Rick Scott has opposed, but has support from State Senator Mike haridopolos.
