The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is holding a Sci-Fi Summer with exhibits and more than $300,000 in prizes given away from June 11 through September 5 including two trips to space.
Guests visiting during Sci-Fi Summer, will pick up their Mission Log upon entering, and be invited to participate in the “
Mission to Win” where they will journey throughout the Visitor Complex in a quest to find answers to questions covering the last 50 years of U.S. manned space flight and
Star Trek, one of the greatest science fiction franchises in U.S. history.
Also appearing at Sci-Fi Summer is B9, known as the “Robot” from the 1965 television series “Lost in Space” and Max Q, a talking robot who introduces guests to groundbreaking achievements of robots in the exploration of the universe.
Additionally, on June 28, 2011, visitors will be randomly selected that morning to win one of 300 tickets to watch “Transformers 3” at either a 4 p.m. or 7 p.m. showing that day before the movie begins playing in theaters.
