Commissioner Fisher Supports Flash Mob Event on Saturday

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — This Saturday, August 13 at 3 p.m., Titusville is coming together in the form of a flash mob to support a local legend. (It’s not a dancing flash mob, it’s a rally of support!) Dave’s Hot Dog’s, one of two remaining tenants in Miracle City Mall, has been selling hot dogs for over 40 years.
Robin Fisher, District 1 Commissioner and Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, stated, “Dave’s is a Titusville icon. It’s really heartwarming to see our town rally around local businesses. I personally hope to see more of these types of grassroots efforts invested in our town. We’re really excited about the progress the Greater Titusville Renaissance citizen group is making on the redevelopment of Miracle City Mall and look forward to what that means for new business and the continued support of existing businesses, like Dave’s.”

North Brevard residents can take part in the flash mob by showing their thanks through their presence at Dave’s Hot Dog’s from 3 to 6 p.m. this Saturday. They can exchange stories and memories from days of old and make new friends as well. Dave’s accepts cash only, no debit cards please. For further information, contact Holly Woolsey, Co-Chairman of Communications of the Greater Titusville Renaissance at 321-269-4066.
