Brevard County Atlantic Fishing Back After Irene

After nearly two weeks of clouded waters of Brevard County’s coast, hungry fish began biting again today now that the water has finally cleared up after Hurricane Irene.
Red fish, pompano, whiting and flounder were striking lines baited with shrimp for surf fishers.
The Atlantic should remain clear until Saturday when Hurricane Katia begins churning up the ocean bottom again off of the East Coast of Central Florida.
