Cocaine Washes Ashore In Brevard County

At approximately 7:00 a.m. yesterday morning, 25 kilograms of cocaine were discovered on the beach at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station a half mile south of Camera Road Alpha.

Later that day, at around 1:15 p.m., a call was made to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office to pick up the bales.

Throughout the afternoon, U.S. Coast Guard and Brevard County Sheriff’s deputies searched nearby beaches and waterways for additional bales of cocaine that could have washed ashore.
