On September 7, 2011, the Cocoa Police Department was contacted by four separate victims who live in Orange County, about unauthorized ATM withdrawls from their accounts in Cocoa. The victim’s information was collected and it was discovered that all four victims use Fairwinds Credit Union in Orlando. All four victims still had possession of their cards.
Contact was made with the Credit Union and it was discovered that there were several more victims around the Central Florida area. The suspects took a substantial amount of money from the numerous victims. It is suspected that a card skimmer was used to gather the victims information but at this time the investigation is still ongoing as to where the skimmer was used and when.
Investigators are asking for your help in identifying the two male suspects. If you have any information, please contact Detective Doug Levine at 321-637-6376.
