A suspect with an active arrest warrant for murder and grand theft auto is now in custody after federal marshals located him in South Florida just after 3 p.m. Thursday.
Jason Williams (DOB 03/13/1982) was found in Sunrise Florida where he was staying with a girlfriend.
Extradition proceedings are underway to return him to Brevard County where he will face prosecution.
On October 15th just before 5 a.m. Palm Bay patrol officers responded to 341 Wysteria Rd. in reference to a panic alarm at the residence.
When officers arrived they found 50-year-old Wayne McIntosh laying on the floor bleeding.
He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Further investigation yielded the identity of Williams as a suspect and detectives were able to obtain a warrant for second-degree murder and grand theft of the victim’s vehicle.
