Cocoa Beach Bank Robbery

The Cocoa Beach Police Department with the cooperation of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office are in search of a bank robbery suspect.

The bank robbery occurred today around 1:45 PM at the Bank of America branch located at the northeast corner of the intersection of State Roads A1A and 520 in Cocoa Beach.

The suspect is preliminarily described as a white male who was wearing a purple hat.

The suspect is believed to have fled on foot northbound from the bank after handing a teller a note demanding cash.

The suspect is also believed to have stuffed some cash in the front of jeans/pants.

Brevard County Sheriff’s Office K-9 units and ‘Star’ helicopter are assisting in the search.
