Police Release Identity of Driver Who Fatally Crashed Into Indian River

The Palm Bay Police Department has released the identity of the driver who fatally crashed into the Indian River this past weekend.  The driver has been identified as 25-year-old Jessica Anne Lytle.
Although a concrete and steel safety barrier runs along the parking area near the intersection of Dixie Highway Northeast and R.J. Conlan Boulevard, Lytle’s Ford pickup truck made it over the barrier and plummeted down a steep embankment leading to the Indian River.
Court records show that Ms. Lytle had a lengthy traffic record over the last five years.  Several of the charges involved driving with a suspended license.  Just last September, Ms. Lytle was arrested and charged with Failure to Appear in a criminal traffic case.

Below is a picture of where the crash scene was located.  The Google satellite image shows the steepness and relative height of the embankment along the Indian River.
