Sexual Predator Arrested In Titusville Walmart Toy Aisle Flasher Case

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — The Titusville Police Department announced yesterday that a man suspected of who exposing himself to children in the Titusville Walmart toy aisle has been identified and arrested.
28-year-old Robert Johnathan Walyus was arrested by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on February 7, 2012 at approximately 1:15 AM after a search warrant was conducted at his residence.
The search warrant assisted detectives in identifying Walyus in a second Titusville indecent exposure incident which occurred at the Publix on 3275 Arden Street, in October of 2011.
Walyus is a registered Sexual Predator due to two prior convictions for Lewd or Lascivious Exhibition, one in Orange County in 2003 and a second in Seminole County in 2008.

Walyus was taken to the Orange County Jail on a Brevard County warrant for Lewd or Lascivious Exposure to a Child under 16-years-old.

Walyus’ bond has been set at $125,000.  Additional charges are pending.
The Titusville Police Department credits the public for many tips received leading to this suspect’s arrest.
