Minuteman Sidewalk, Tiki Garden Before Cocoa Beach City Commission
COCOA BEACH, Florida — A presentation of the engineering study for a proposed sidewalk on the north side of Minuteman Causeway is on the Agenda for the next Cocoa Beach City Commission meeting on March 15, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Cocoa Beach City Hall.
Also on the agenda is a proposed tiki garden on the north side of Minuteman Causeway near Cocoa Beach High School and Roosevelt Elementary where each tiki would represent a graduating class year.
Tikis and palm trees were just installed at the beach end of Minuteman Causeway. The commission will also consider an irrigation and drainage system for the installed palm trees and nearby sea oats.
The Commission will also discuss a proposal to remove the ‘tall sidewalk’ on the south side of Minuteman Causeway leading to the beach and Coconuts on the Beach with a Florida Curb.
