Prescribed Burn In Merritt Island Today
MERRITT ISLAND, Florida — The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is planning to conduct a 250-acre prescribed fire today.
The National Weather Service is predicting winds between 5 to 10 m.p.h. from the south which should push the smoke northward towards sparsely inhabited parts of Northern Brevard and Southern Volusia Counties.
