Rockledge Man Dies In I-95 Crash

PALM BAY, Florida  — The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a 59-year-old Brevard County man from Rockledge, Florida, died in this morning’s fatal accident on I-95 just south of Palm Bay, Florida.

FHP says that the man’s 1999 Ford Van’s right rear tire separated, causing the van to veer right on to the shoulder of the interstate.  That’s when FHP says the man over-corrected to the left, causing the van to overturn twice.

The man was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident.  His name has not been released pending next-of-kin notification.

The crash remains under investigation.
