  • TO ALL SHERIFF'S CANDIDATES AND THEIR SUPPORTERS: PLEASE DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A POLITICAL EVENT. THIS EVENT IS MEANT TO REMEMBER A FALLEN DEPUTY KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY, DO NOT USE THIS LOSS AS A CAMPAIGN STRATEGY. DO NOT PLASTER CAMPAIGN SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS ALL OVER THE PARKING LOTS AND STOPS FOR THE VENUE. IT WOULD BE A SHAME AND SHOW THE CHARACTER OF THE CANDIDATE TO TURN A TRAGEDY INTO POLITICS.

  • I am glad they got to honor Deputy Pill..I am still awaiting the outcome of the investigation as to who allowed her killer to get out of jail when he wasnt suppose to...I am hoping that the department doesnt think that portion of this case will be forgotten. Come on sheriff's office let us know who failed to do their job by letting someone out who should not of been allowed out and who ultimately killed deputy Pill. I think it would be a fair assumption to say she would still be with us today if someone would have done their job correctly.
