Palm Bay Woman Killed In Melbourne Traffic Accident

MELBOURNE, Florida — The Melbourne Police Department is reporting that 49-year-old Angelica Bartlett of Palm Bay, Florida died as a result of injuries she sustained in a motor vehicle crash in Melbourne, Florida.


Police say that Bartlet was an occupant in a silver Dodge Intrepid that was traveling north on U.S. 1.  The Dodge made a left turn at the intersection of Masterson Street.  While making the turn, the Dodge turned left into the path of a Toyota Tundra that was traveling south on U.S. 1.


All of the occupants of the Dodge Intrepid had to be extricated by the Melbourne Fire Department and Brevard County Fire Rescue crews.  The occupants of the Toyota were treated and released at the scene.  The occupants of the Dodge were all injured.
