Titusville Attorney Shoots At Armed Burglars
TITUSVILLE, Florida — At 4 a.m. this morning, Titusville Police were called to Titusville attorney Sam Bardwell’s office because he had been woken up to intruders going through his belongings.
Bardwell confronted the intruders and was able to run them out of his office as he shot several rounds towards the intruders. However, no one was injured. A perimeter was established by law enforcement, and with the inter-agency cooperation between Titusville Police and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, including a BCSO helicopter unit, the suspects were arrested.
Subsequent to the suspects’ arrest, property was obtained which police say linked the two men to five other burglaries that happened the same night.
At this time, detectives are still attempting to link items recovered to their rightful owners. The men, identified as 26-year-old Curtis Green and 19-year-old Devin Strozier were charged with Armed Occupied Burglary, Grand Theft, two counts of Grand Theft of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Resisting Arrest without Violence, Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Possession of Crack Cocaine.
