MERRITT ISLAND, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that the westbound lanes of State Road 528 are blocked on Merritt Island, Florida due to a vehicle crash with injuries that occurred at 7:27 a.m. this morning.

The crash is located near the intersection of North Courtney Parkway and the Beachline at mile marker 49.

Brevard County Fire Rescue Crews have been called respond to the area.
