Palm Bay's Annual Water Quality Report Available Online

Palm Bay, FL – The City of Palm Bay Utilities Department has released its 2012 Annual Water Quality Report detailing testing performed on the water system during 2011. Utilities customers will receive a copy of the detailed report in their upcoming utility bill, and the public may view the report online at www.pbud.org. Public water systems are required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to mail a copy of the report to customers each year.

The report includes information about source water, treatment processes, water quality, sustainability efforts, and outreach activities.

“This report shows the efforts made by our team to ensure that clean, safe, reliable drinking water is delivered to our customers each and every day,” said Dan Roberts, P.E., Utilities Director. “Clean drinking water is vital to our quality of life, our local economy, and our health. Our water professionals are pleased to provide this service to the community.”

The 2012 Annual Water Quality Report for the City of Palm Bay can be viewed directly online by visiting http://www.palmbayflorida.org/utilities/public/documents/ccr2012.pdf. Copies of the report will also be available at local libraries, Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, Palm Bay Community Center, and the Utilities Administration Office.
