Brevard County Obituaries June 28, 2012


Louis Vincent Campanelli the III of Palm Bay went to his eternal rest on June 26, 2012 in Palm Bay, Florida. His passing was immediate.  He did not suffer.  He worked as a Juvenile Detention Center Officer and is a graduate of Florida State University and BCC.  Louis was loved dearly by all who knew him, members of St. Marks United Methodist Church and Holy Name of Jesus.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Michele Wallace, his Mother Colette, two brothers Roger & Ronnie, nieces Allyson & Kelsi, nephew Christopher, Godmother Anita, mother-in-law Fontaine Wallace and brother-in-law David & Greg along with the entire Wallace and Campanelli family and friends. He will be forever remembered as a loving husband, uncle, brother, son and friend.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am this Saturday, June 30th, 2012, at St. Marks United Methodist Church 2030 N. Highway A1A in Indialantic.  Reception will follow in Fellowship Hall.

Clyde A. Millian, 85, of West Melbourne passed away on Wednesday June 27, 2012 in Melbourne. 

He was a retired Car Dealer moving here in 1957 from Rome, GA, a member of the Oceanside Community Church and a veteran of the US Army in the Korean War where he was awarded the Bronze Star.  He met his wife in Gadsden, AL while in the Army, he was 18 and she was 14.  They wrote to each other for 4 years and he proposed by letter.  They will have been married 63 years on July 8th.  

He is survived by his wife Christine, a son Al (Brenda), daughter Cathy Millian-Clendenin (David), grandchildren Tenia Clendenin, Chad Worthington (Nisha), and Kristi Worthington Roy (Derek), and great grandsons CJ and Lucas.

Calling hours will be on Monday July 2nd from 5pm-7pm at the Brownlie – Maxwell Funeral Home.  Funeal services with Military Honors will be Tuesday July 3rd at 11am in the Oceanside Community Church in Satellite Beach.

Marguerite “Peggy” Walters, 79 of Melbourne, FL, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 26, 2012.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gilbert C. Walters.  She leaves behind her daughter, Linda W Morgan of Manchester, CT; son Michael Walters o Manchester, CT and her grandchilddren Emily Walters and Victoria Walters of Wethersfield, CT.  She was predeceased by her daughter Marie Walters Dziedzic.

Peggy will be remembered by all for her kindness and generosity.

A funeral mass will be held at Ascension Church on Tuesday, July 3rd at 11:30 a.m.

Kevin R. Zepka, 52, of Satellite Beach died on June 24, 2012. He was born on October 18, 1959 to William and Janet Zepka.

Kevin was predeceased by his wife; Anneli, father; William and brother; Sammy. He is survived by his mother; Janet, brother Victor; sisters Betsy (Matt) and Candace (Rob), nieces and nephews Amanda, Allison, Billy, Jessica, and Jennifer; and his faithful companion, Shy-Ann.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Beach Funeral Homes – East, Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, from 11:00am-12:00pm with a service to begin at 12:00p.m. Inurnment will immediately follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge.
