COCOA, Florida — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Work Farm is making sandbags available to Brevard County residents tomorrow, June 27th and Thursday, June 28th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Inmates will fill sandbags for distribution at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Work Farm located at 2955 Pluckebaum Road in Cocoa, Florida.
Residents can pick up ten sandbags per household in a drive-through style. The Sheriff’s Office says that the sandbag distribution is in response to citizen concerns about potential rainfall accompanying Tropical Storm Debby.
