PALM BAY, Florida — Palm Bay Police Detectives on ATV’s are currently searching a wooded area at the east end of Fallon Boulevardd near the Turkey Creek Sanctuary for a missing woman last seen Thursday.
22-year-old Marsharie Lemons-Garret was last seen by her mother at home at 2151 Oaklyn Street in Palm Bay, Florida. Lemons-Garrett was wearing purple Winnie the Pooh pajamas.
She is 5’8″, 150 pounds, with short braided black hair. Socks and shoes belonging to the woman were found in a wooded area near her home.
Aerial searches over the weekend and ground searches using police tracking dogs did not yield any results. Follow up searches with the tracking dogs will continue.
“We are using every available resource and following every lead,” said Sgt. Ken Arnold. “There is concern for her wellbeing. She has no known friends, no cell phone, and no money so we don’t have a lot of leads.”
There are no immediate indications of foul play. Detectives are interviewing family members and canvassing the area of her last known movements. The investigation is ongoing.
