Serial Bank Robber Flees Melbourne Bank

MELBOURNE, Florida — At approximately 9:48 am this morning, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Bank 1st – Suntree branch located at Capron Trail and North Wickham Road regarding a suspicious incident that is believed to have been an attempted robbery of the bank.
The bank staff advised that a white man, described as having dark skin, approached and pulled on the doors of the facility in an attempt to enter into the lobby area.  Prior to being granted access into the bank, a member of the staff noted that the man was wearing an obvious wig under a ball cap and what appeared to be a fake moustache.
Likewise, his appearance was similar to that of the suspect in last week’s robbery of the TD Bank in Palm Bay.  Subsequently, he was not granted access into the facility and fled to the nearby shopping plaza parking lot where it is believed he entered into a vehicle and departed the area.
The suspect was described as a white man, 30-40 years of age, 5’8” to 5’10” inches tall.  He was wearing a black wig (pulled into a pony tail) a light blue ball cap, denim pants, and denim colored shirt.  He is believed to have gotten into a medium blue Toyota Prius automobile and departed the area.  No tag on the vehicle was obtained.
The bank staff has reviewed the photos of the suspect in last week’s robbery in Palm Bayand confirmed that this appears to be the same individual.  Because the suspect did not enter into the bank today, there are no useful still photographs of this incident.
