Titusville Man Dies In Liquid Nitrogen Semi-Truck Accident

PORT ORANGE, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting that a Brevard County man has died from injuries he sustained in a traffic accident that occurred at 3:20 a.m. this morning.


FHP troopers say that 40-year-old Frank Moceri, of Titusville, Florida, was driving a semi-tractor trailer hauling liquid nitrogen northbound on I-95 in the right through lane.


40-year-old Christopher White, also of Titusville, Florida, was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi 4-Door which had stopped in the emergency lane on the east should of I-95 near mile marker 255.
For reasons still under investigation by the FHP, Moceri’s semi-truck drifted towards the emergency lane and the front right side of the semi struck the left rear of the Mitsubishi.
The semi drove over the Mitsubishi as the vehicles came to a final rest in the northbound lanes of I-95.
FHP troopers are asking for any witnesses to contact FHP at (407) 737-2213
This crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
