Veteran Palm Bay Firefighter Dies

PALM BAY, Florida — The City of Palm Bay announced today that:
“It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing on June 20, 2012, of Driver/Engineer Jeff Burgin, a 16 year veteran of Palm Bay Fire-Rescue.

Driver/Engineer Burgin joined Palm Bay Fire-Rescue in 1996 after serving several years with the Florida Division of Forestry. Jeff served with honor protecting the community and will be remembered for his many personal sacrifices to protect those he served.”
