TITUSVILLE, Florida — Around 1:18 this morning, Titusville Police officers responded to the 1000 Block of Fourth Avenue in Titusville, Florida for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed Todd Eldridge Thomas lying on the ground outside of a residence suffering from injuries related to the shooting.
Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after arrival of Titusville Fire and Emergency Services. His next of kin have been notified.
Thomas had resided at 1049 South Deleon Avenue. He was born on September 1961.
The suspect in this case is 33-year-old Cedric Jermaine Wiley who previously resided at 945 Allendale Street in Titusville.
There is an active felony arrest warrant for Wiley for 1st Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and additional charges.
Police say that Wiley has an extensive felony arrest record and should be considered armed and dangerous.
