TITUSVILLE, Florida — Three identity theft suspects have been charged with more than 90 counts of identity theft, fraud, theft, and forgery.
All of the victims were determined to be current or former employees of Apollo Elementary School located in Titusville, Florida.
Agents with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and the Titusville Police Department initiated an investigation into an organized identity theft ring in north Brevard County.
Agents determined Richard Harvill, Michelle Walker, and Alison Greenlay were using the victims’ stolen identities to purchase merchandise at local retail stores.
Walker and Harvill fled the area and were subsequently arrested in North Carolina while Alison Greenlay was arrested here in Brevard County, Florida.
Walker and Harvill are also being held in North Carolina on charges of operating a “meth” lab. The two will return to Brevard to face charges.
Agents are charging Michelle Walker with 33 counts of Criminal Use of Personal Identification (Identity Theft), 8 counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, 7 counts of Scheme to Defraud, 1 count of Forgery and 1 count of Grand Theft.
Richard Harvill is being charged with 34 counts of Criminal Use of Personal Identification (Identity Theft), 2 counts of Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards, 2 counts of Grand Theft and 1 count of Forgery.
Alison Greenlay was charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Forgery, Grand Theft and Violation of Probation.
Agents say that all three individuals have criminal records. Richard Harvill has a career criminal hiastory and has previous convictions dating back to 1986.
