UPDATE: Merritt Island Murder Suspect Arrested

MERRITT ISLAND, Florida — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation into the murder of 21-year-old, Evander Tinsley in the Tropical Manor Apartment Section 8 Housing complex located at 1165 Jordan Road on Merritt Island, Florida.

The autopsy was completed today and the Medical Examiner has determined the manner of death as homicide. Full autopsy results will not be available for at least 6 to 8 weeks.

Investigators are still in the process of interviewing potential witnesses and following up on multiple leads. The investigation is ongoing and further updates will occur as new information becomes available.
