Weda Alexander, 1927 – 2012 went to be with the Lord on Monday October 15, 2012.
She is survived by her husband The Rev. Denzel Alexander, son Gary (Karen) Alexander of Wisconsin, daughter Jennifer (Mark) Schoenrock of Minnesota, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a sister Martha Neuman of California.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday October 21st at 2pm in the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.

John B. Butler died in his home Saturday October 6, 2012, age 96. He was born in New Dorp, Staten Island, New York City. He moved to Brevard County from Wyckoff NJ in July 1975. Mr. Butler was a decorated Army veteran of World War II, serving in the defense of Hawaii and the occupation of Japan. Excerpts of his diary of the occupation of Japan were featured in Florida Today at the 50th anniversary of VJ day, in 1995. Mr. Butler was retired from IBM where he worked in various managerial capacities for thirty years. During his time with IBM he also served the US Government Bureau of Census, and Departments of Labor and Commerce.
On Staten Island he founded and was President of a community organization, the Manor Civic Association. In Satellite Beach he served as President of the Moorings Association and, for two years, as President of AARP Satellite Beach Chapter.
He is predeceased by his wife Marie Perry Butler. He is survived by his daughter Diane Marie, his son John Jr., daughter-in-law Katherine Whitehouse, grandchildren Sarah (Paul) Jessen, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Everitt, and David Butler, and great grandchildren Lily and Sam Jessen.
Burial will be in The Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. Funeral services will be private.

Gail Ann Copeland, 69, died on Sunday, October 7, 2012, of natural causes. Mrs. Copeland was born Gail Ann Syversen in Berwyn, IL on April 3, 1943, to Harold Syversen and Rachel Downie Syversen. She grew up in Coral Gables, FL, graduated from Palmetto High School in 1961, and was married to Arthur Francis Copeland III
from January 1962 until his passing in 2001. The Copelands moved to Satellite Beach after his retirement from the Air Force in 1976. Mrs. Copeland worked for many years at Carnegie Gardens Nursing Home and was active in the Cub Scouts, Patrick AFB NCO Wives Club, and Women of the Moose Chapter 1983.
She is survived by sons Arthur and Adam Copeland, and by three grandchildren, Charles, Robyn, and William Copeland.
A memorial service will be held at the Satellite Beach Moose Lodge, 1815 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, on Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Noon.
Memorial donations may be made in Gail Copeland’s name to Mooseheart Child City, 155 South International Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539-1182.

Venora “Vee” Dalton, 80 of Melbourne Beach, Florida passed away Wednesday October 10, 2012 at her home. She was a retired Make Up Artist for Max Factor and attended the Chapel by the Sea in Melbourne Beach. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter Nancy Coalter of Melbourne Beach, FL, son Tommy Vogle of Saucier, MS, grandchildren Tracy Letzerich of Austin, TX, Amy Pinnell of Winnsboro, TX, Katie Vogle of Dania Beach, FL, Desha LaRosa of Biloxi, MS, Sundee Anspach of Saucier, MS, David Coalter of Melbourne Beach, FL, and Tommy Vogle of Saucier, MS, and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Saturday October, 13th at 11am in the Chapel by the Sea in Melbourne Beach.
