PORT CANAVERAL, Florida — The Vonda Welborn’s 2012 Port Canaveral Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Awareness Fest will take place at The Cove in Port Canaveral, Florida from 9 a.m. to 6. p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012.
The walk begins at Milliken’s Reef which benefits the Space Coast Cancer Foundation.
There will be live entertainment, street vendors, arts and crafts, a “shrimp peel ‘n’ eat contest,” and the bed and bathtub race.
The funds raised will stay in Brevard County to aid patients undergoing treatment, educating the public and for cancer research. In the past three years, the event has raised over $95,00 for the cause and hopes to add a considerable amount to that total this year.
