Sheriff's Office Searches For Missing Titusville Man

UPDATE:  Mr. Chapman has been found safe.

 
TITUSVILLE, Florida — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a Titusville man last seen on September 26th, 2012.

50 year-old Sherman Dee Chapman was last seen by a family member at his Oklahoma Street address at approximately 1:30 pm on September 26th.
Mr. Chapman is described as 6’00” tall, 280 lbs., grey hair and brown eyes. 
When last seen, he was clean shaven and was wearing green shorts and a grey shirt.  Mr. Chapman is described as suffering from health issues that impair his cognitive abilities.  It is unknown at this time if he departed the residence with his medication.  Investigators have learned that Chapman left behind both his wallet and his cellular telephone.
Mr. Chapman is believed to be operating a 2002 dark blue Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck with an extended cab.  That vehicle bears Florida license plate #N998VV.
