The notification from show Producer Jodi Friedman does not necessarily say they’re coming to Brevard County, but seeks commissioners’ help in spreading the word.

“We’re looking for leads, specifically interesting characters with interesting items and lots of them,” Friedman says in the notice. “Word-of-mouth is a great way of finding avid collectors.”

Friedman’s notice also indicates the show is contacting local media, chambers of commerce and various individuals about the pending visit. Only private collections are considered, so stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions and, in general, public sales will not be considered.
