TITUSVILLE, Florida — A fire erupted at STOPS Enterprises, LLC, located on 8855 Grissom Parkway in Titusville, Florida, this morning. Details are limited, and persons evacuated from the building said that they “were not allowed to talk to anyone.”
Titusvile Fire Department crews and the State Fire Marshall are on scene to investigate the cause of the blaze.
STOPS Enterprises recently made the news in Brevard Times back in February when it announced it would layoff 126 employees beginning in March 2013.
Employees in the transportation and warehousing sector were to be affected by the layoffs, according to documents filed by STOPS Enterprises with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity in January.
