JACKSONVILLE, Florida — A great white shark weighing over 3,000 pounds that was tagged with a radio transponder to be tracked by satellite has had its latest ping locations off the coast of Brunswick, Georgia.
The 16-foot great white shark, named Mary Lee by Ocearch researchers after being tagged off Cape Cod last September, was steadily making her way back towards the Jacksonville, Florida coast last week before making a sharp turn north toward Georgia today.
