PALM BAY, Florida — The Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway Coalition will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House located at 3275 Dixie Highway NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905.
The Coalition typically meets at the Ted Moorhead Lagoon House in Palm Bay and every other month the meetings are held at other locations along the Byway.
The mission of the Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway Coalition is to encourage visitors to the 195 mile byway on Florida’s central east coast to experience the byway’s unique natural, historic and cultural resources. These resources include the most diverse estuary in North America with over 4,000 species of plants and animals, and both the home of the Kennedy Space Center and site of Juan Ponce de Leon’s first landing.
