Melbourne Man Has Heart Attack In Fatal Crash
MELBOURNE, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a 64-year-old Melbourne man suffered a heart attack while driving that caused a crash on Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida.
Byron Harold Creasy was driving a 2006 Nissan Murano eastbound on County Road 509 (Wickham Road) in the outside lane at approximately 1:30 p.m. today when he suffered a heart attack and lost control.
The Muran collided with a 2011 Honda Pilot several times, front to rear, before a passenger in the Muran was able to gain control of it and bring it to a stop.
The passenger, 64-year-old Rachel Creasy, and the driver of the Pilot, 64-year-old Donna Nichols, did not suffer any injuries.
Creasy was transported to Viera Hospital where he died.
