COCOA, Florida — Earlier today, Agents with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office arrested 16-year-old and charged him with Robbery by Sudden Snatching, Criminal Mischief and Violation of Probation.
The teen is accused of luring a disabled woman in a wheel chair to a nearby abandoned home by offering her deal on a gasoline powered wheelchair. He then allegedly took the victims fanny pack with currency and personal items by force, damaged the victim’s wheelchair, and fled the area.
Agents received a CRIMELINE tip, which led to the teen’s identity and was located on Montclaire Street in Cocoa. The teen was transported to the Brevard County Juvenile Detention Center.
