Man Identified In Wickham Road Fatal Motorcycle Crash
MELBOURNE, Florida — The Florida Highway Patrol reported that 65-year-old Roland Merritt of Palm Bay, Florida has died as a result of injuries he sustained in a traffic accident that occurred on Wickham Road at 7:40 a.m. this morning. 57-year-old Konah Denny, of Orlando, Florida, was driving a 2005 Toyota 4-door southbound on Wickham Road around 7:40 a.m. while
Merritt was riding a 1986 Honda motorcycle northbound. FHP troopers say that Denny attempted to make a left turn to travel on to Windsor Estates Drive and turned into the direct path of the motorcycle. The front of the motorcycle then struck the right side of the Toyota and
Merritt was ejected from the motorcycle.
Merritt, who was wearing a helmet, died at the accident scene and Denny was transported to Viera Hospital.
According to FHP spokesperson Sgt. Kim Montes, this crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.

Maybe if fl. highwaypatrol would start charging drivers who kill motorcyists at random with something more then just a traffic ticket. people might open there eyes and look twice. lets face the facts when you turn into the bikes path they dont stand A CHANCE.ITS INVOLTERY MANSLORTER.
