Brevard Sheriff's Agents Search For Lottery Ticket Theft Suspects
MERRITT ISLAND, Florida — Brevard County Sheriff’s Agents are investigating a theft of Florida Lottery tickets that occurred at the Circle K convenience store located at 2323 N. Courtenay Parkway in Merritt Island, Florida.
On June 13, 2013, at approximately 5:10 AM, an unidentified white male and white female entered the business. The female suspect then created a situation to intentionally distract the store clerk while the male suspect stole lottery tickets from behind the counter. The suspects then left the store in a black Honda Civic and traveled to several convenience stores in the Titusville area, where both suspects cashed the stolen lottery tickets.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office at (321) 633-7162 or CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
ALL calls to CRIMELINE are confidential and callers can remain anonymous and be eligible for reward for information leading to an arrest.
I'm not Adrian Monk though I try to help where ever I can.In order to "cash-in" any winning scratch-off tickets, the perps needed enough time to scratch all of them and then cash them in.Of course the stolen tickets have traceable serial numbers. In order to have enough time before every other store was alerted, there would have to be a delay of some kind. Suggests an inside connection.
