Just before 4 a.m. on Saturday, 24-year-old Kyle William Grundy of Palm Bay, was driving a 2009 Honda Accord eastbound on SR 528 in the outside lane one mile east of SR 3. Meanwhile, a box truck driven by 54-year-old Jaichand Somaiah, of Winter Garden, Florida, was also traveling east in the same lane directly in front of the Honda.
FHP troopers say that the Honda was traveling at a high rate of speed and that Grundy failed to slow the Honda in time, causing the front of the Honda to strike the rear of the box truck. The Honda then became lodged under the truck and was dragged to a final rest by the truck.
All four of the Honda occupants were entrapped and had to be extricated by Brevard County Fire Rescue Crews. Grundy, along with two passengers in the Honda, 21-year-old Alex Michael Souza of Palm Bay, and 22-year-old Stephen Antwoine Wright of Palm Bay, were airlifted to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. The third passenger, 20-year-old Krystle Munoz of Merritt Island, was taken to Wuestoff Hospital.
Souza’s and Grundy’s injuries are listed as serious. Munoz, and Wright sustained minor injuries. Somaiah did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
This crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.

Whew! I'm sure glad the truck driver wasn't injured. The rest is good news.
Who the fuck would say something like that you POS
Too bad all four punks survived (so far). Otherwise, this would have been a fine example of 'natural selection'.
Wow, you guys are cruel. If only she was your friend like she is mine. You guys can go burn.
Why would you post something so ignorant, regardless of fault lives are in danger and one of the "punks" is a respected friend of mine. Assholes.
To the foul-mouth and the friend:Sorry, but I have ZERO sympathy for these brain-dead turds. If they had struck a motorcycle (or two) with passengers, they would all have been killed! Anyone stupid enough to get in a car driven by a drunk/druggie deserves whatever they get. Kyle's life is over. He may as well commit suicide now. Not only may he go to jail, but even if he had insurance it wouldn't cover all the costs, and he will be hounded for the rest of his life by lawyers for his passengers' chronic medical problems. Even if he manages to get a job at McDonalds, they'll be garnishing what little wages he earns.Unless you're also a major loser, I suggest you find new friends.
Anonomous Libertarian. Glad you're not running this country. Keep living your perfect life on your soap box. I'm sure you're loved by many. Not!!!
Aggregate IQ of all four in the car is still a double-digit number.
