MELBOURNE, Florida — Many children across Brevard County are in store for some disappointment this weekend following a FLORIDA TODAY article which reported that several Disney characters would be at the annual “Boo at the Zoo” event at the Brevard Zoo.
After the FLORIDA TODAY article ran, the Brevard Zoo issued the following statement:
“Florida Today gave us a great write up in the Oct. 11 TGIF section. While we expect to have children in Sofia, the First, Jake, the Neverending Pirate, and monsters from Monster University costumes, there will not be special appearances by those characters at Boo at the Zoo.”
