COCOA, Florida — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects in connection to the Waffle House shooting in Cocoa that occurred last week.
On October 11, 2013, The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office investigated a shooting incident that occurred in a parking area adjacent to the Waffle House, located at 4465 King Street, Cocoa. The shooting resulted in two victims suffering non-life threatening injuries.
BCSO said in a release that the investigation led to the identification of two suspects responsible for the shootings. Agents then obtained arrest warrants for 25-year-old Corneil Jeremy Sessions and 22-year-old Jamir Wellington Anderson in connection with the shootings.
On October 15, 2013, the Game Over Task Force located Sessions in Rockledge, Florida. Sessions was placed under arrest for charges of Shooting in Public from Vehicle and Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
Two days later, the Game Over Task Force located Anderson at a Cocoa residence. Anderson was charged with Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. A
Both men are currently held at the Brevard County Jail under a no bond status.
