COCOA and ROCKLEDGE, Florida – The Central Area of Brevard County Parks and Recreation, with the cities of Cocoa and Rockledge, will host the 2013 Cocoa/Rockledge Holiday Parade, “A World of Wonder,” starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013.
The parade will start at the Central Brevard Public Library and continue south on Forrest Avenue across State Road 520 to Florida Avenue and end at Rockledge High School.
Cocoa Police will close Forrest Avenue at 8 a.m. for parade line-up, then Florida Avenue south of SR520 at 9:45 a.m. Rockledge Police will close Florida Avenue to US1 at 9:45 a.m. until approximately 12:30 p.m. Traffic will be rerouted around the parade route. Motorists wishing to drive through the area are cautioned to allow extra time.
